How to Update Your BBID Email Address

When moving to a new place, there’s always a long list of things you must do. One important thing on this list is to update your address. This is critical because you need to make everyone aware of your new physical address, so you do not miss out on any of your mail.

That same level of importance can be said when you change your email address. This is especially true if you have a Bluebeam license since your email address is part of your BBID.

If you go through an email change, whether it be a name or domain change, you will need to update your email in your Bluebeam account by following these steps:

User Email address update process:

End Users: Users should follow the steps outlined here to update their email address for the Studio account: How to Update Your BBID Information. Please remember that it is very important to do these steps in the order that they are listed in this link. After completing those steps, users will be able to log into Bluebeam with the same password as before and their new email address. They’ll see all their same settings and their Studio Sessions and Projects.

License Admins: You should automatically see the user’s new email address replace their old one in Org Admin shortly after the user makes the change.

Troubleshooting for integration users: Users may need to open Bluebeam Studio inside the Bluebeam desktop app and log into Studio with their new email address to re-authenticate. Once that step is completed they shouldn’t have any issues launching Studio through their integration.

Make sure to keep your email address current now that you know the steps to update. Change is a part of life, but how you deal with it is just as important.
